Verbs of Type 1 are characterised by the letter е and add the following endings to the stem -ю (or у usually after a consonant) ,-ешь,-ет,-ем,-ете,-ют (or ут usually after a consonant) .
Under stress, е is replaced with ё with some verbs. This chart shows conjugations of verb groups where the stem ends in a consonant
